Our house is listed on the National Register of Historic Homes and, although you will recognize some modern conveniences, you can't help but feel you are sometimes in the 1800s. 14 ft. ceilings, large windows, french doors, antique and reproduction furniture, and airy balcony, all lend to feeling back in time. We are nestled along Lazy Bayou Teche, branches of legendary Evangeline Oak, and the center of town. We are within walking distance to all the shops, museums, restaurants and St. Martin de Tours Church, Mother Church of Acadians. Longfellow/Evangeline State Park is 6 blocks away, and Lake Fausse Point State Park about 8 miles away!

Beautiful location along the lazy Bayou Teche, beneath the legendary Evangeline Oak (meeting place of Acadian lovers "Evangeline and Gabriel" counterparts Emmilene LaBiche and Louis Arceneaux). We are in the center of Historic District in beautiful St. Martinville. Museums, shops, restaurants and Historic Longfellow-Evangeline State Park. Almost all in walking distance. Only 15 or 20 minutes from New Iberia, Breaux Bridge, Lafayette, etc with lots more to see and do.
Plan your family reunion, friends get together, girls getaway, organization activity, small conferences, etc. We want to make this time a most admirable memory.
